Welcome to the August edition of “Minnesota Music Monthly” presented by yours truly, This is Perfect Harmony! As the sweltering heat of summer hits a peak, so does the vibrant music scene across the Land of 10,000 Lakes. From indie-folk, electronic, alternative-rock, r&b, and more- This Is Perfect Harmony is here to sum up just a portion of music being enamored in awe this month. Grab your sunscreen and a pair of shades and get ready to groove, sway, and immerse yourself in the magic of music in Minnesota at its finest!

Thursday 8/3 – Suki Waterhouse

The otherworldly, Suki Waterhouse, is set for an enchanting evening on Thursday, August 3 at one of the Twin Cities’ most iconic music venues, First Avenue. With her captivating vocals and mesmerizing performances, Waterhouse is set to deliver a night of musical brilliance. Her eclectic blend of indie alternative sounds promises to leave the audience spellbound.

Saturday 8/5 – gRLL sMTH / kLL BiLL & Friends

The Pourhouse is going to rowdy town on Saturday, August 5, as gRLL sMTH sets the stage a bliss with an evening dinner party. Of course, the bass doesn’t stop just there! Stick around for KLL BiLL & Friends taking over from 9 p.m.- 2 a.m. As an event dedicated to the legalization of marijuana in Minnesota, TC Presents has cooked up quite the barbecue you won’t want to miss.

Sunday 8/13 – Navigate to Groove Cruise

No Boys In The Booth is throwing quite the brunch party for Navigate to Groove Cruise. Featuring an array of local talent including Sax Sells, TeeSo, Borderline, and Jen Blackburn. The headliner of the day is the rising pair, Max Low. Leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of electronic music lovers, this Sunday brunch party should be at the center of your plans this month.

Thursday 8/17 – St Paul & The Broken Bones

St. Paul & The Broken Bones are en route to take over one of our favorite NE Minneapolis breweries, Bauhaus. On a delightful Thursday evening, you can catch the band known for their captivating performances and powerful vocals. Including eight members, St Paul & The Broken Bones deliver a signature blend of soul, funk, and R&B.

Friday 8/18 – Canabliss

Wakaan artist, Canabliss, tunes up the hot girl bass live in action at Rev on Friday, August 18th. Get ready to drop it real low in a fusion of cutting-edge sound design and vibrant energy as this is what Canabliss has promised to deliver time and time again. Saturday 8/19 – Deep Focus with Dublink

If you’re fam to This is Perfect Harmony, you know just how much we’ve been hyping this one up! Join our friends Deep Focus as they partner with Champion Sound and Culminate Presents to take over ROK Bar in St. Paul. Tuesday 8/22 – Lindsey Sterling
