Vieira releases independent original single, “Solar” [Overview]
Imagine, if you will, it’s April 25, 2020, and the very first Electric Hawk In Harmony Virtual Music Festival is scheduled to stream, and you are absolutely HYPED. A ton of talent on the bill, I’m talking a HEAPING amount of raw, uncut gas, from top to bottom. It’s unreal. A fair amount of familiar names and some not so much makes the curiosity peak. Like, who doesn’t love finding new music?
Vieira was among the sea of talent showcased that weekend, a set 42 minutes long of face scrunching bass with bopping samples guaranteed to get the people groovin’. (Listen to Vieira’s Harmony set here.) Capturing the interest of those unfamiliar with his talent. This January 29, Vieira independently released his single, “Solar,” for those of us itching for that sound.
Collaborations with Psyoctave and SAGZ have given a broader audience a taste of the sound. Luckily last week, Vieira released his first original track since January of 2020 titled “Solar.”
“Solar” sneaks in with what sounds like smooth violin chords laid over a crunchy hip hop drum beat, ushering the listener to an elegant distorted bass drop. Vieira has a firm grasp on blending the contrast between his harmonic touch with the CRONCH of distorted bass leads. On the way to our second drop, we see the calm before being assaulted with quite the switch up, which leaves listeners ready for more.
Experience “Solar” for yourself!
