Shake butt with Nu Strut ft. Wreckno in “Pornstache”
Nu Strut and Wreckno bring some serious attitude to the table with their latest release,“Pornstache.” It’s out now with Electrick Hawk Records on all platforms so you can shake it whenever, wherever. The duo sets a very, “1969 in San Francisco valley porn palace” type of vibe. Nu Strut surely struts his sound design game along with groovy guitar plucks that sound straight out of Funkytown in the ‘70s. Pair the groove with a foxy vocalist like Wreckno, expressing his love to get down and not giving a f**, and you got yourself a summer full of booty shaking.
The creative entity that is Nu Strut is brought to us by Brent Pinero. Growing up in Dallas, Texas, music has been a large part of Brent’s life. Taking part in a multitude of bands, including forming his very own blues trio 14 years ago. In 2016, Nu Strut began experimenting with electronic music, blending genres like his inspirations before him. Taking notes from some of his favorites like Grammatik, Koan Sound and LSDREAM, he continues to produce those Neo soul, Funkified, hip-hop suede type beats.
Last August, Electrik Hawk hosted one of their infamously THICK Harmony Virtual Music Festivals, which Nu Strut had the pleasure of closing out, right after the Koan Sound boys(listen here). In the same month of August, Nu Strut also released his foxy funkified remix of “Funk ain’t even” by mad scientist Au5 and Nasty Purple. Highly recommended bop.
“Pornstashe ass out lookin’ like a plumber.” Wise words from the one and only baddie Wreckno. Attitude fills the dancefloor whenever Wreckno hits the speakers, it’s a fact. This banger hits like “Medusa” with Griz, and “Moon Sigil” have put this queen on the forefront of the party bass scene. It’s a beautiful sight to see all the positive reactions and support from the community supporting his project, making a safe space for all of LBGTQ+ involved. The future is bright and sassy and we are here for it.
Needless to say, “Pornstache” is the refreshing bop we needed in order to get our twerk game right. Pull up those fishnets and bathe in sustainable glitter for this one.
