NotLö, Virtual Reality, and a Giveaway [Show Preview]

NotLö is booked to bring the wubs to REM5 Virtual Reality Lab on Friday, August 26. The show is hosted by Low & High Presents and is the second of its kind. 

NotLö has had a breakout career in the bass scene. This summer alone she has been featured on lineups such as Electric Forest, Shambhala, and Wakaan. She is also pending her debut Dead Beats release on “We Are Dead Beats Volume 5” on August 26th. Yes, the same day as her REM5 debut. 

Do you think she’ll rinse it out for us? 

Musical support for the show will be provided by Necromancer, Tree Sap, and Nautical Divine. Glitch artist, Android Xamadu, will provide art of the visual variant for the evening. More artists and vendors for the event include RaneBo, Twisted Element, Clown Glass and more to be announced. In addition to the various types of artists represented on the bill, are flow artists Raven Flowz and Mystique Nel.

REM5 is a virtual reality lounge located in St. Louis Park, just 10 minutes west of Minneapolis. The intimate venue is guaranteed to sell out in advance. The last Low & High Takeover at REM5 featured Mythm b2b Aric of Ternion Sound b2b Dalek One for the main act. 

The evening was full of interactive experiences and great tunes.

“This is our version of a ‘hybrid’ event — some people will be in a bass music reality, and other people are…on another goddamn planet doing whatever they want in virtual reality,” shared Brian Skalak of REM5.
