Desert Dwellers present “Breath Re-imagined Vol.2″[Album Overview]

In the late 90s, the legendary Moontribe Gatherings gave birth to the entity we know and love today, Desert Dwellers. Fast forward to April 26 2019, when the Colorado alchemists, Desert Dwellers, conjure a spellbinding experience known as “Breath” ,released through Black Swan Sounds. An otherworldly soundscape which transcends borders with its tribal atmosphere beating under angelic vocals. Desert Dwellers producers, Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, invited friends to gain perspective on “Breath” on January 24 of 2020.  “Breath Reimagined Vol.1”was released with massive remixes by Somatoast, Mumukshu, Bluetech, and Mindex  jus to name a few.

Today, you lay witness to “Breath Re-imagined Vol.2”. A perfectly blended concoction of  tribal house, downtempo electronica.  Eleven remixes from the likes of Raposa, , Bosa , The Invisible People (An-ten-nae) and Luca Bacchetti are just a fraction of the talent on this project. Coss and Lorie begin the album with their black sand mix of “Closed Eyes In A Dust Storm.”  The track gives us insight on where this trip will be taking us. With prominent yet smooth synths layered on top of thick kick drums you can’t ignore.

As the Odyssey continues, you gain a sense of mystical wonder at play. By the fourth track, the pace begins to pick up with Unders remix of,  “One That Shows The Way.” The subtle high hats really add that extra little flavor on top of a Tron like synth. Track after track, weaved together perfectly into one cohesive breath of life. When you get to “Dreams Within A Dream” remixed by Derun, you are lost in a trance of melodic vocals and dreamy string instruments. This project shows exactly how to blend multicultural sounds in such a musical experience to where it’s just that, an experience. By the end of the album you are lost in the deep grooves of the desert where the love dwells.

Make sure to give the project a proper opportunity as a whole, at least once. Light a candle, set the mood, take a deep breath and get lost in sound. “Breath Re-imagined Vol.2”  is released through Sofa Beats and is now available on Bandcamp and Spotify!
