Cole Jackson releases “Go” on Electric Hawk Records [Overview]

It might just be the sunset, your silhouette,
but I don’t wanna fade like your cigarette

The feeling of meeting someone for the first time, locking eyes and dancing the night away. Not wanting it to end, wanting those butterflies and that moment to live on eternally. It’s the classic rave-bae love story. This one hits differently, though. “Go” by Cole Jackson, featuring vocals by Claire Dejean, asks the real question: “where is this gonna go?”

Self-released on Electric Hawk Records, “Go” is a summer tune that’s gonna be playing on repeat in your noggin. This is Jackson’s first release on the label, and he is determined to expand his melodic horizons. He doesn’t want to be boxed into one niche, as his past bill has included remixes of hits by Flume, RAC and more.

The indie-electronic bop has Louis the Child vibes and early 2000’s girl-band vocals. Soft drops followed by sprinkles of wubs and a catchy melody will have anyone crushing on a special someone singing along.
