Photo Diary: Kiss Me at Snowta!
Everyone wants to ring in the New Year’s Eve with someone special. Some cultures believe that the first person you encounter in the new year sets the tone for the rest of the year. Lovers lock lips, friends embrace and drink clink. It doesn’t matter where you are, it matters who you’re with.
Many though, had the best of both worlds for New Year’s Eve 2017. Thousands of people grabbed their loved one and flocked to Snowta NYE (now rebranded as Snowta Fest), an indoor music festival held in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The event offers a diverse musical line up as well as activities and a much appreciated heated parking lot.
Here’s a photo series of the happy couples that rang in the new year at Snowta NYE.
Even if they are “just friends”…
In attendance at Snowta NYE was couple, Jeremy Anderson and Kari Tranmel. They are both long time fans of Excision and had this was their first time catching him live. As the Paradox Stage shook the arena, Jeremy Anderson got down on one knee and asked Kari Tranmel, to be with him forever. The crowd erupted with cheers and she said “YES”.
“Seeing your smile as you saw me on my knee, your eyes tearing up with happiness, the love radiating from your soul, our lives becoming one, this will always be my favorite moment,” said Anderson.
May 2018 hold many happy memories.
Take at look at that ring and dream away, fellow headbangers.
