If there’s one DJ I regret not seeing at Electric Forest 2017, it’s the spunky green-haired queen of house, Mija. She’s been dominating the EDM scene, appearing at many large-scale festivals in 2017 including, Spring Awakening, Voodoo, Shaky Beats, EDC Las Vegas and more.
The LA-based artist is definitely busy — in the last month she’s released a new track, “Bad for You” and announced her tour, “Never B Alone.”
She Tweeted on Tuesday,
To kick off her New Year, though, Mija will be spinning at Snowta, warming up Minnesota head-bangers for Excision’s ball-dropping set.
While her set time is not yet released, we know she’ll be playing Sunday, December 31.
In the meantime, check out “Time Stops,” a soundtrack produced and written by Mija for a short film directed by Ryan Forever and animated by 8-Bit Cinema’s David Dutton.
Billboard music calls it a taste of an “audiovisual experience.” It’s a futuristic and fast paced mix that sounds like the music you’d hear in a japanese-style video game. (Think Mario Brothers meets EDM.)
