Bass Ribbon Pines 2022 [Playlist & Preview]
Bass Ribbon Pines is more than a music festival. It’s an interactive experience for electronic music fans and disc golfers alike.
Identity Events will host Bass Ribbon Pines on July 21, 22, 23, and 24 at Blue Ribbon Pines Disc Golf Club in East Bethel — a 30-minute drive north of Minneapolis on 65.
To get the festivities started off right, Minnesota will grace the decks on Thursday night for the pre-party. Jessica Audiffred is set to bring the heat on Friday and G-Rex will wrap up the weekend on Saturday.
Other artists on the lineup include Medicine Place, Effin, Oddprophet, Shanghai Doom, Notixx, Walter Wilde, Beak Nasty, Viskus, Wylin and many more!
In addition to its stacked musical lineup, Bass Ribbon Pines has a slew of activities lined up for attendees as well. The Wubs & Dubs Doubles Tournament will take place on Saturday and begin at 9 a.m., with an award ceremony at 5 p.m.
Participants in the disc golf tournament will get the opportunity to show everyone what they’re really made of – how well can you frolf after having your face melted by some of the best underground electronic acts in the nation?
Attendees can also tune in to what is, in our biased opinion, the best addition to Bass Ribbon Pines – Bass Ribbon Radio. The live radio broadcast will stream through wireless headphones as an add-on to the festival. The headphones reach every corner of the grounds, from the disc golf course to the campgrounds.
Listeners also have the option to gather around the broadcast hub, the Perfect Harmony Skoolie -hip slang for converted school buses- for a “live audience” radio experience.
See why we’re biased now?
Bass Ribbon Radio will be hosted by Low & High Presents and This is Perfect Harmony. The local teams will have curated artist interviews, guest mixes and special segments.
Witness the Skoolie turn into a canvas with live painting by RaneBo Warrior. Tune in for a classic early morning talk show with Jake and Megan of Low & High, a peek into sound system culture with Robbie T, and an overdose prevention training by Steve Rummler Hope Network.
“Equipping more people with naloxone, and the knowledge to use it, is an essential aspect of creating a safer, more conscientious community,” shared Allie Carey, the Director of Programs at Steve Rummler Hope Network.
More details on Bass Ribbon Pine’s radio segments will be announced closer to the event! In the meantime, if you are interested in showing Steve Rummler Hope Network what the bass community is made of, make a donation to the non-profit and let them know Bass Ribbon Pines sent you!
Be sure to grab your event ticket, pre-party ticket, and add-ons, before it’s sold out.
