The Invasion with Nick 0, Harlz, TRiP B & Axel Foley [Show Preview]

Regardless if it’s the first time an unreleased track is heard, someone’s first live show back or their first time at The Exchange—there is no lack of anticipation for The Invasion.

Low & High Presents teams up with Cold Peppers Productions to bring Minneapolis an evening of wonky wubs and banging beats. The show will take place this Thursday, May 27, at The Exchange.

“This show is set apart from the rest because it’s the first show back from Covid and our first event at The Exchange. It is flourishing into an amazing relationship that will continue to grow past this show,” shared founder of Low & High, Hunter Breault.

The production teams invited four musical artists to set the tone for the evening—Nick O, Harlz, TRiP B and Axel Foley.

Every artist featured on the line-up has something brand new to bring to the decks—it seems to be the unintended, perhaps unexpected, consequence of the live show hiatus.

The Invasion will be more than just music. Painters and vendors will be present as well. Attendees can gaze upon the work of Yolk, Portal of Paige, Zach Julen, Tanner Palmer and Butterfly Vega.

The evening will start at 9:00 pm with TRiP B. Attendees can expect to be submerged in TRiP B’s deep and weird sound. “I am ready to give them the full experience of the TRiP B project and get into some real experiences with my fans and homies.” Said, TRiP B.

The next act for the evening is Harlz. He has been hard at work with a plethora of unreleased music to show for it.

Nick O intends to bring the evening to a peak with a blend of hip hop beats, wook bass and dubstep. “Playing shows is like therapy for me. When I’m on stage, it’s like everything in life pauses and I can just focus on what I love to do,” said Nick O

A DJ set by hip-hop artist Axel Foley will wrap up the evening.

The show will come to a close at 2:00 am as Minneapolis allows venues to resume late-night operations. Event organizers, though, have decided that masks are mandatory. There will be room to walk around, look at art and dance to the music.

Tickets for the evening are $15 and can be purchased online, bought at the door or won when you interact with us on social media. Head over to Perfect Harmony’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to enter. The winner will be chosen day of the event and announced across socials!

“Regardless of the turnout, I always thoroughly enjoy spending time with the people who share the same passion as me,” shared Hunter.
