New Album by Contra Scandal; “Full Circle” Out Now With Gravitas [Overview]
Six months of solitude can make or break any individual, for producer Contra Scandal, it made his sophomore album “Full Circle” and for that we are blessed. Out now via our gracious Gravitas Recordings, this ten track experience features one saucy remix of “Mile High Livin’” by the Los Angeles magician; MORiLLO. Contra Scandal uses his violin to cast spells with eloquence blending melodies with upbeat glitch hop, and deep undertones, taking listeners on an ethereal “Escapade”.
The Denver native isn’t new to this whatsoever. In 2019 Contra Scandal won PartyWaves remix competition for MERAKi (peep it here) released alongside heavy hitters like Pushloop and Prophet. One surprising and unique project included his track, “Last Breath” for the independent film “Kakapo Crest”, about a group of women who climb the Tusk off Milford Sound in New Zealand. In 2019 he made his way to The Untz Festival’s ShadowTrix late night acts, sharing stages with ONHELL , VCTRE, Bricksquash, Hullaballoo, TieDye Ky, the list goes on.
The fact that his second album is released with Gravitas should tell you all you need to know.
