Preview: Wakaan Daily Line Up & Green Program with For Site Group
With Liquid Strangers’ debut music festival right around the corner, you could say the anticipation is COLOSSAL. We were blessed recently with the daily lineup so we can have an idea of how to plan out our days. Plan accordingly and prepare to miss an act or two, unless you’ve perfected your teleportation skills safely. With this stacked lineup, there’s bound to overlap.
If you attended Electric Forest 2019, chances are you experienced the massive Jaenga bus sound camp. Some favorite acts such as Buku b2b Minnesota and MIZE proved its place among renegades. If you missed it at Electric Forest don’t you worry, you’re in for a treat at Wakaan. If you’re worried that you won’t have anything to do after the venue stops playing music, follow the bass to the Jaenga bus for late night shenanigans. SUB.MISSION, Sermon and The Spicy Bois teams are bringing serious heat so don’t miss out. And let us hope the Jaenga bus comes back with those Hennessy stacks.
LEAVE NO TRACE is a mindset that we could all benefit from. For Site Group teamed up with the Wakaan team to help implement these practices. If taking care of mama earth isn’t enough incentive, then hopefully The Wakaan team’s recycle raffle will be. For every bag of garbage turned in to the “Green Team Raffle” tent you receive one raffle ticket. Or you can earn TWO raffle tickets every time you turn in a bag of properly sorted recycling. For a first time festival, this is the type of leadership we need. Of course, the raffle is packed with EXCLUSIVE PRIZES. The winners will be announced on Saturday (10/5) on the Main stage.
Rumor has it they will be doing a Jersey drop every day, I guess we will have to wait and see! With tickets being 80 percent sold out now I wouldn’t wait any longer to snag a ticket to this once in a lifetime experience. You don’t want to miss the Tvboo talks live comedy act now do ya, daddy?
And don’t worry everybody there will be porta-potties inside the general admission grounds.
See you on the mountain!
