Micro Funk Monthly Recap: March
Good news, PHamily – Aaron “Heatbox” Heaton’s year of weekly micro funk jams is nowhere close to an end.
Here’s how it went down in March.
Things We Said We Would Do
Ever make plans then decide those plans are a bit too much of a hassle? Don’t we all.
This simple, slow jam on the keyboard appeals to the introvert within us all.
Oh, and I hope you enjoy this behind the scenes video as much as I did.
(Make sure you watch the actual video first.)
You Know I Got A Big One
A suggestive title and suggestive lyrics to go along with it. Give it a little time, and some salt, and all becomes clear. Heaton goes acapella and dances with clones of himself in this harmonic tune about how big it is.
Thing In The Freezer
Does this poppy, 80s style synthesizer melody make me want to dance? Yes.
Does this song title look like it could be the title of a Goosebumps book? Yes.
Will we ever know what the thing in the freezer is? Probably not.
But that’s probably for the best.
Arm Hair
Heaton brings out the ukulele in his shortest micro funk jam to date. It might even be shorter than his arm hair.
You decide.
A new micro funk song is released every Monday. Check it out here.
