Line Up Announcement: Galactic Get-Down 2019

There’s no reason to plan a trip to mars when you can go to Galactic Get-Down Music Festival in Houston, MN. The space themed festival just dropped it’s line up and  is set to take place July 18, 19 and 20.

The line up features some returning favorites including That 1 Guy, Frogleg, Smokin’ Joe, Mae Simpson Music, Space Monkey Mafia, Gin Strings, and of course the hosts, Dead Larry.

As for new faces, Heatbox will be making an appearance as well as Zach Deputy, Cas Haley, Reed Grim, Big Zach’s Hip-Hop Showcase featuring flowstate, Goop City Music and Lifted Mindz. Space Monster, Porky’s Groove Machine, Earth To Clark, Stringdingers, Spare Change Trio, Splimit and many more.

It doesn’t stop with the musical side of things. Live painters such as Rob Munger, Tex Beltz, Melanie Klimpel, Dizzle Arts,  Chuck Hues, Jordan Oliver, Mary Thompson and Mike Wilson will be there as well!

This is GGD’s fourth year of bringing “music for the people by the people,” as co-founder John Mehren described it in 2018. The festival is perfect for those who want to feel apart of a family and safe while getting down to their favorite local tunes.  Hosting the event In collaboration with Dead Larry is Vicarious Visions and Seahorse Productions. And, with three years of space themed fun under the organizers belts, this year is bound to bring the event to the top of music fanatics list of must-go-to-festivals. Be sure to jump on the bandwagon, er… spaceship before it takes off.
